Would he fault Hiyori for spending money on girls to fill some time and void in his life? Wouldn’t that be hypocritical of him to do? Hiyori was unpleasant, rude and got on his nerves constantly. But he grew to love the last person he ever thought he could.
And for that reason alone makes how they came together worth all the hardships. ]
