[ Pause. Was he just called 'friend'? They're friends now? Huh. Huh.
For Tsukasa, roles had always had clear delineations. So while he respects Jun as a senior, he'd never thought it was the sort of relationship that included friendship within it. But now that he thinks about it, they're playing a video game and he's telling said senior things he'd probably hesitate to even tell people he already considers friends. What is that if not an admission of trust, of friendship?
So if he smiles even brighter now, please don't pay too much attention to it! Really, it feels a bit embarrassing to look this happy! He's just pleased to have widened his circle again. Maybe he's not too hopeless on the 'making friends' department after all.
Just... a bit confused by all the gamespeak that follows, however. Meta? Spark? Ahaha, Sazanami-senpai sure knows a lot about this kind of thing. I'm not sure I can keep up... ]
Hmm. In particular, I mostly just bought gear and various special items for my characters to boost their performance in-game. Apparently one is able to obtain those through farming anyway, but the drop rates can be unforgiving and quite honestly I do not wish to go through that when an easier option exists. [ #whaleprivilege please don't perceive him. Anyway, he's much more occupied with leader duties now so perhaps with it comes the maturity to not do that anymore.
And ah, it seems he's hit a sore spot.
That 'Goddamn' and the rant that briefly followed certainly doesn't encourage deeper probing. He can glean that much. Somehow, Jun's words from earlier feels much heavier now: "I'm guessing our circumstances are pretty different." Maybe it is in ways Tsukasa can't even begin to comprehend.
Fortunately, his offer for another match makes it easy to gloss over the topic. He won't even point out the crude language. For now, he just makes a mental note about the topic being sensitive; he'd hate to further upset his friend, after all.
And this time, Tsukasa chooses a character almost the opposite to his previous one: a small, elf-like summoner! So cute, so harmless-looking. ]
This character reminds me of Tori-kun, so I won't feel too bad even if I lost ♪
[ He chuckles darkly to himself like some B-rated movie villain. Why is he like this. Maybe this is his idea of fun. ]
imagine walking into the common room and 2 guys are working thru their issues via video games
