[Hiyori blinks back in response, before cocking an eyebrow.]
You don't think I actually thought you were a dog this whole time, do you? That would just be silly! Jun-kun is an idol, and my beloved partner. Of course he's not a dog.
[He lets that sit for a moment. But then, inevitably, he adds:]
Though he is somewhat dog-like. And hyena-like!
[Yep. He just had to say it.]
And I guess he's occasionally cat-like.
[... but he didn't have to say that. Alas, between the Springtime game and Jun's brief stint as a nekomimi strawberry maid, Hiyori simply couldn't resist. Still with an innocent smile, he digs back into his own breakfast (which is probably a spinach and feta danish if we're still going by the Tous Les Jours menu), munching while Jun ponders what the trigger might be. After finishing his bite he says,]
You don't want to keep making those noises, do you? I'd rather not cause a scene or spoil your birthday, so of course I won't say them.
[He sips his flavored tea. Then he adds,]
Unless you think we should test it out just to be sure. But if so, we can do that back in our room.
